Up Up Up & Away!

If you think this blog posting is going to be about a balloon, you're wrong. It's Michael himself I am referring to. One of Michael's favorite things when walking is to be between either Mommy & Daddy, or Mommy & Miss Tammy and hold our hands. He is also very fond of counting to 3, and when he gets to 3, you have to lift him up so that he goes flying into the air, and comes back to the earth, and tries to land on his feet. He thinks this is the greatest amount of fun, and absolutely loves doing it. Yesterday, while walking through the parking lot to church, he again wanted to hold Mommy & Miss Tammy's hands. He doesn't explain what he wants, he just starts counting, and you had better be ready on the count of 3. We can generally get him a couple feet off the ground for a few seconds and he swings forward with his feet out in front of him, and comes back down. After church, Michael wanted to do it with Mommy & Daddy, but then Mommy's arm got tired, so Miss Tammy was substituted to walk with Daddy & Michael. It was readily apparent that Miss Tammy is much stronger than Mommy, because when Miss Tammy and Daddy lifted him on the count of 3, not only did he go up, but he went entirely around as well. Yes, Folks, his feet not only went up (and much higher than normal as well), but they also ended up over his head, and came back down on the other side doing a perfect summersault. As per normal, he insisted on doing that again, and it was so much fun that I don't think he will ever quite be satisfied doing it with Mommy ever again ;(
