Picking Dandelions & A 5-Alarm Diaper Disaster

Last night Mommy & Daddy went on a date and saw a movie, and Michael stayed at home with me. We had to play in the "new" sandbox because the neighbors weren't home. As soon as the neighbors did get home, we had to run and greet them. The boys also came running to greet us. We then ran around the neighbors back yard, and Michael became obsessed with a certain yellow flower. (He insisted on calling them a flower despite my many corrections). Once he had both little hands full with as many as he could possibly carry, we rang the neighbor's doorbell and Mrs. Roxann came to the door, and we presented her with quite a few dandelions. She was very impressed, and even put them in a little cup with water to show how proud she was. She even suggested that we go out and pick some more for her. Mrs. Roxann was also very nice and helpful in exchange, because when I determined that he needed a new diaper, she was quick to offer her expert diaper changing services. I ran back home to get a new diaper and some wipes. It ended up that Mrs. Roxann wasn't quite so happy to have volunteered when she discovered that Michael had a 5-alarm diaper disaster. I, on the other hand, was very happy. It took more than a few wet wipes, and eventually a trip to the bathtub before he was again presentable. Mrs. Roxann said that she had forgotten how badly little kids diapers can smell.
