We recently played a friendly game of baseball with the neighbor kids in our back yard. Fun was had by all, especially Mocha, who was given the enviable position of outfielder (and played on both teams). Then of course there's
yours truly who was hit by a ball, and wasn't
even at bat. It could be classified as a [very] foul ball, but was actually one of the pitches that was hit with an alarming amount of gusto from one of the neighbor kids. This was followed by a look of sheer terror when the ball hit me. I guess that's why they put screens around the ballparks...to prevent these sort of things. Fortunately, it was not a grave injury, and did not require any medical attention. At least everyone got their exercise, and fun to boot. After the game, everyone gathered around to give Hi-Fives for a job well done. Good Job Michael!!
