I know what you are thinking, he can't possibly be reading at this young age. Well that's partly true, and partly not true. There is a certain Elmo board book that is a favorite of Michael's, it's entitled "Elmo's Little Playhouse." Andrea decided to let him help read the book. At every occurrence of the word Elmo in the book, Michael would say Elmo, and then Andrea would continue reading. For instance, the beginning of the book starts with:
Michael:Elmo
Andrea: wants to make a little playhouse. Who will help
Michael: Elmo
Andrea: I will help you
Michael: Elmo
Andrea: Let's cut out windows and doors.
They did this for several pages of the book, and it was quite entertaining. The end is Michael's favorite part as the last question of the book is Elmo's little playhouse is finished. Who will live in it?? Michael proudly announces "The Twiddlebugs."
