Ear Plugs Required!

Recently Michael has developed a fondness for "singing." I use that term loosely because it may or may not be actually classified as "singing." My personal opinion is that ear plugs should be required. Not that it's bad, or off key, but because it is at the top of his lungs. Any untrained ear would conclude that he is throwing a temper tantrum, but I can assure you that is not so, he just loves to "sing." His favorites include "Jesus Loves Me," which he sings with Daddy, "Bob the Builder" and "Thomas the Tank Engine" (to which he always adds "Choo Choo"). He has not as of yet figured out the Thomas theme song, but it is quite long, so just "Thomas the Tank Engine Choo Choo" suffices for now. He spontaneously bursts into song in any number of environments, including when walking the dog in our neighborhood. As my mother can attest, he sings very loud. So loud, that she could definitely hear him through my ear piece when I was talking to her during a recent walking expedition. (and I was not holding him, he was actually walking behind me holding hands with both the neighbor boys). Fortunately, you can tell when he's going to be really loud. For instance, when singing "Bob the Builder." He proceeds to sing "Bob, the Builder, Can we fix it?" and then proceeds to take a really deep breath and then yells/sings "YES WE CAN!" So if any relatives and/or grandparents (including honorary grandparents) are coming to visit in the near future, this is fair warning, bring EAR PLUGS!!
