Innocent Until Proven Guilty

In a previous post, I mentioned the neighbor boys preference for demolition derbies as opposed to playing nicely and sedately with cars and trucks. Well, they have definitely rubbed off on Michael, or it could be just a gene thing for boys. Michael was playing with his garbage truck and new M&M car from Grandma, and had the bright idea to crash them into each other. The picture of course shows the "I don't know how that happened Mommy, but it wasn't me, really" expression or possibly "You can't prove that was me" line of thought. He was smart enough after that though to figure out that he could put the M&M car on top of the garbage truck and make them both go. The garbage truck can go forward or backward on its own depending on which buttons you push on top of the truck. It also plays a tune "To the Dump, To the Dump, To the Dump Dump Dump" which has been played continuously and marched to on a regular basis -- much to the chagrin of all adults in the house. Michael seemed delighted to make both go, and giggled when the M&M car fell off. It doesn't "fly" as securely as the space shuttle does when it piggy backs across the country.
