Painting Cows

Michael has been begging for quite a while for a Michael - Miss Tammy day. Finally last night, Daddy & Mommy went out on a date, so Miss Tammy picked up Michael from day care, and we picked up some art supplies to paint a cow. Michael also found a wooden cross that he wanted to paint. Michael's Honorary Grandma found a cow picture for us that we could print out (Thank you Grandma!! :) Miss Tammy printed out several copies of the cow, and the fun began. Eventually Miss Tammy was able to convince Michael that he needed to take his coat, shirt & pants off, and that it was better to paint in just a Pull-Up. Michael decided that he was going to paint the first cow pink, and told me that it was a pig. Then on the second cow, He told me he was painting it black, because Miss Tammy had advised him to paint the cow black & white. Then we progressed to other colors, and Michael found great joy in mixing the colors, at least he was having a ball. He was also dancing at times to the Veggie Tales "Jonah" movie that was playing in the background.
Eventually Miss Tammy said that Michael had to take a bath so that he could be clean by the time Mommy & Daddy got home, and that we should also give the cows some time to dry. Michael was still in the bathtub when Mommy & Daddy got home. Michael was so excited that he asked to get out of the tub, and with a towel wrapped around him, insisted on going downstairs to show Mommy & Daddy his cows & pig. Unfortunately, he wanted to show them the paint process as well, and got paint all over himself again. So, this time Mommy said she would put him back in the bathtub. (He had been in such a hurry to get downstairs, we hadn't drained the bathtub yet). Michael seemed to be upset in the bathtub the 2nd time, and I thought I had figured out what was wrong. Michael answered in the affirmative when I asked him if he was upset because Mommy & Daddy had come home, and if he thought that meant he had to stop having fun with Miss Tammy. Mommy thought that was cute, and told Daddy.
Michael also had such fun and had expended so much energy painting that he was very hungry, (despite the fact that Miss Tammy had picked up a Kid's Cheeseburger Meal for him). Daddy cooked him another hamburger, which he ate entirely as well. Mommy mentioned that she was concerned that if he is eating this much when he is 2, how much will he eat when he is a teenager?
